Create and Manage Your Own Audiences with Bloom Groups
Most audiences are a mix. Facilities and Front Office together. Marketing plus Communications plus the colleague who sends the newsletter. With Bloom Groups you build exactly that combination once, give it a name in your own words, and pick it wherever Bloom asks who something is for.
Membership changes apply everywhere the group is used, and the people who know an audience best can keep it current themselves. A new audience no longer has to start with a request to IT and a change in Microsoft Entra ID.
Built from what you already have
A Bloom Group brings together the groups you already have: SharePoint groups, and in Microsoft Entra ID both security groups and Microsoft 365 groups, including the ones behind your teams in Microsoft Teams. Add individual people alongside them, in any combination you like.
Everything you have already built keeps working for you. When someone joins Facilities in Microsoft Entra ID, they are part of every Bloom Group that includes Facilities. You are naming a combination, not maintaining a copy of it.
Give the group owners and the maintenance moves to the people who know the audience. An owner keeps the members and the metadata of their own group current, without full administrator permissions. Creating new groups stays with your Hub administrators.
One group, every people picker
Set a group up once and it is waiting for you everywhere it counts. Wherever Bloom asks who something is for, your groups are one of the options: the audience of a widget, the owners and visitors of a board, an urgent message, an app in the app launcher. If there is a people picker, they are in it.
Change the membership later and every one of those places follows, because they all point at the same group. No hunting for the boards and widgets where an audience was used.
Recognizable at the moment you choose
Every group carries a title and a subtitle, in each of the content languages you configured for your tenant. Add an image or let the group take its initials, and it stays recognizable in a list of twenty.
That subtitle travels with the group into every picker, together with its current number of users. The next person choosing an audience reads what a group is for instead of guessing from its name, and sees how many people it reaches before selecting it.
A Microsoft Entra ID group inside a Bloom Group keeps living its own life outside Bloom. The membership follows along on its own, and Recalculate user counts brings every total back up to date whenever you want to see exactly where you stand.
Audience targeting that keeps up with your organization
Teams move quickly. Someone joins a project, someone takes over a role, someone covers for a colleague through the summer. Bloom Groups gives you a place to describe those groupings in your own words, hand them to the people who know them best, and use them everywhere at once.
Your structure in SharePoint and Microsoft Entra ID keeps doing the heavy lifting. The everyday grouping happens where it belongs, in Bloom.
Name your audience once. Use it everywhere.
