These intuitive tools allow you to easily navigate and refine large datasets, providing a tailored view of the information that matters most.
Transform your dashboard into a dynamic, responsive tool for insightful data exploration with just a few clicks.
Audience targeting
Administrators use the widget’s audience targeting feature to tailor access, displaying only the most relevant reports to each user. It respects and upholds the permissions set within Power BI, guaranteeing data security and appropriate access levels.
By aligning report visibility with user roles and needs, the widget enhances relevance without skipping the integrity of data governance as defined in Power BI.
Configure how it should render
The widget offers flexible configuration options for content rendering to suit your needs. Choose to display a single report, or show multiple reports in a carousel or as a list.
Additionally, optimize the user interaction by configuring the widget to open reports in full-screen mode upon clicking, either the same report or a different one.
Collections for a growing reporting landscape
A collection holds the reports that belong to the same job. Inside it you add groups, and inside a group the individual content: a full report, or a single visual taken from one. Three levels, so a landscape of sixty reports becomes a short list of the things people actually open.
Nothing moves in Power BI. You organize how the widget presents your reports, while your workspaces, permissions and refresh schedules stay exactly as they are.
Four layouts to present them
Tiles shows each collection as a card, with an icon, a description and the number of reports inside. List keeps the collections as sections that fold open, at home in a narrow column. Mixed combines the two: a tab per collection, live visuals underneath, and the full reports beside them as a list.
Administrators pick the layout the widget opens in, and set per widget variant whether users may change it, add their own Power BI content, or manage groups and collections.
Made for the people who need it
Every collection carries a card visual taken from your own Power BI content, so the overview already reads like a dashboard before anyone clicks. Title, description and notes are entered per content language.
Visibility can be limited to a group, and a collection can be pushed to people so it lands in their widget ready to use. Both are people pickers, so a Bloom Group works here as well.
