Urgent messages in the colors of your own brand

An urgent message has one job: to be believed at a glance. The goal here was to let that message look like it came from your organization, in the same colors as everything around it.

Urgent messages can now be styled per type. Info, Warning and Severe warning each get their own treatment, and every part of the message follows your palette.

Three types, three treatments

Info, Warning and Severe warning are styled separately, so the difference between them is something people see rather than read. A planned maintenance notice and an evacuation notice should not look alike, and now they do not have to.

You will find them in the theme, under Urgent messages, with a dialog per type and a separate set of colors for light mode and dark mode.

Every part of the message follows your palette

Per type you set the color of the title, the description, the subtext and the icon, plus the text and background of the call to action. The message background itself takes a color with an opacity and a blur, so it lifts off the board without hiding it.

A live preview at the top of the dialog shows the result while you work.

Ready when you are

This is live. Open the Design panel in the admin center, edit your theme, and you will find Urgent messages in the right column, with a dialog per type.
